October 23rd, 2003 | Teeny article...
...but with pics you're gonna want to see! The article's more
of a little blurb, but I stuck it in the articles
section because one day (probably when I decide
that I don't need to sleep anymore) I'm going to
put all the pics from the various articles into
one gallery on the media page. Oh, the plans I have...
Anyway, been trying to upload this all
evening, so sorry for the delay.
Many, many thanks to The National Enquirer. <g> The
larger versions of the pictures may take a while to
load, depending on your connection, so please be
patient!
I'm still working on trying to get hold of something from Bradley's
appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
October 19th, 2003 | Articles and an
Audio A... File
Everything's connected to Bradley's 2001 Emmy Award today.
The first
article I stumbled across is from around
the time Noel (the West Wing ep Brad won his Emmy for) aired
in the US.
The second is actually a transcript
of an AOL online chat that Erica sent me a while
back, just after launch. I
stupidly lost the email until this afternoon. Again it's from
around the time Noel aired in the States. Thank you, Erica, for
sending it in!
The audio file is Brad's acceptance speech from the 2001 Emmys. Many
thanks to Sarah at Peace,
Love and The West Wing WAVs for the file, and the people on the JB
list for finding it!
October 17th, 2003 | Clothes Off Our
Back 2003 ~ Update
Added the latest on the 2003
CooB auctions. I've now removed the CooB links from the Home page (until next year) but the CooB Benefit will,
of course, still be featured on the Charity page.
I've removed the cursor roll-over event from all the links site-wide
since I've discovered it's annoying and limited
to looking good only on a Windows-based platform with
Internet Explorer 5 (not even 5+ - IE6 does something
weird to it)
October 10th, 2003 | Bradley's Birthday!
Happy Birthday to Brad,
Happy Birthday to Brad,
Happy Birthday dear Bradley,
Happy Birthday to Brad!
Just put up a little splash page on site
entry. Should be there
until... probably Saturday night (GMT) Promise next year, when
the site's a little more established, we'll do
something decent to celebrate!
October 6th, 2003 | Bradley sells the
suit off his back, again!
I'm just saying, there should be some kind of international warning
system if Bradley's gonna strip in public...
;)
October 3rd, 2003 | Clothes off our
Back latest
Just tiny updates to the CooB stuff on the home page,
and latest news for how Brad's tux did.
October 1st, 2003 | Celebrity Poker
Showdown
A little news about Brad appearing on a new show this winter.
Also, we're approaching the final hours of most of the "Clothes
off our Back" auctions, including Brad's
tux. If you're currently winning an item, make sure you don't
get outbid in the final seconds - auctions
end today at 8pm
(PDT)
September 25th, 2003 | Post Emmy Round
Two of Two
I've been channelling my frustration at not being able to get hold
of the Season 5 West Wing premiere into updating
this site!
News | Brad and co. have scored a new contract with The West Wing
Media Updates:
Audio/Video Files | Two, one audio, one video, from the E! Emmy Pre-show
Stills | A few still photos from the Emmys and I've organised the
West Wing page better
Screencaps | Some from the Emmys pre-show and ceremony. Also, caps
from Brad's Ellen ep and an appearance at a recent Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (CAAF) Fundraiser.
(Caught the clip during E!'s Emmy pre-show)
Also, Altavista may
not be able to find this site but it did find two
articles I hadn't come across before. Both
very topical at the moment since they refer to
Cure Autism Now (CAN) and Union
of Concerned Scientists (UCS), which are the charities that will
benefit from this year's Clothes
Off Our Back celebrity
auctions. Subsequently, I've also updated the charity page.
Finally, nope, the fanfun section still isn't finished, yet.
September 21st, 2003 | Post Emmy Round One
I'm going to add Emmy 2003 material in stages, since it's actually
5am on Sept 22nd for me right now!
Firstly, news recapping the results we care most about here at JB.
Then, if you've been to the front page, you may notice that Brad's
selling his clothes. For charity, of course! I
wanted to promote this as much as possible,
so as well as the temporary addition to the home
page (it will
remain until the auctions end) and the mention
on the news page, there's also a new Charity page,
which will be the place to find Brad's charity
work and information on causes he supports.
Lastly, there's another new link on the nav bar - to FanFun. At
the moment, it doesn't go anywhere, since I haven't
actually finished the section yet. But that's coming soon!
September 10th, 2003 | Short Article
Well, when you run out of screencaps... <g>
Added an interesting article on the technology Bradley uses
to make his life easier (last year, tho)
September 8th, 2003 | More Screen
Caps
And more new screencaps. This time from Scent
of a Woman. No 'tache in sight.
September 3rd, 2003 | New Screen Caps
Lookit! Brad with a 'tache. Screen caps from My
Life added.
August 28th, 2003 | New
Article Snippet
Added a tiny article snippet from sometime in 2000/2001. Many thanx
to Jeanine for tidying her room! (and hence finding the snippet
- makes more sense now doesn't it?)
August 24th, 2003 | New Interview
Stumbled across an interview with NPR that's taken about three
hours to transcribe, but it was totally worth
it!
August 18th, 2003 | Launch Day!
Hey there, and welcome to Just Brad ~ An Unofficial Bradley Whitford
Fan Site (try saying that when you're sober!) As it says
above, today is launch day so everything on this
site is new, at least to this site anyway. </lame
joke>
So, take a look around, come join us in the forums or
on the discussion
list, and let me know what you think - all suggestions
are welcome!
And since this is a launch announcement, I'd like to thank some people
(in no particular order): Beth, Jeanine, Mags,
Chris and Mel. Rest assured, this is all your [collective] fault.
;p
Tk.
