January 24th, 2004 | More caps; Washington
Ad; SAG nom; Wallpaper
Yes, more caps, this time from the 1985 The Equalizer ep,
The Children's Song. Unfortunately, like The X-Files,
a lot of this ep was in the dark, although with
even less light and Brad in more than a vest this
time.
I'd like to thank Stine, who sent me a CD with the Washington
DC Promo Ad (available for download here)
months ago. Really. I'm
sorry it took me so long to put it up. Unfortunately, it's going
to take me even longer to get still caps from it
since Quicktime doesn't have that function and
the file won't play in my other four media players.
<shakes head> Gotta love Apple... Regardless, thank
you Stine!
Latest news - The West Wing cast picked up a SAG nod.
I've realised recently that the site needs some maintenance in places,
and there are other parts that need redesigning
(or finishing, like that FanFun thing I'm still
working on). I'll be doing my best to get those
done asap, but in the meantime I'm sorry for the
long pages (especially this one!) and the month without updates (damn exams), and as part of
my apology, I've put another wallpaper up. This was actually
the first one I made and it's been on my desktop
for a while, but I thought I'd share now. ;)
December 21st, 2003 | Disney Album;
New film!
Three news items today - Brad's contributing
to a charity Disney album; The West Wing bags
a Golden Globe nom; and, thanks to JoshLymansGirl's
post on the forums, we've got some information
on a new film due to be released in 2004.
Since this will probably be the last update before Christmas, there's
a Christmas message here. And
I'd just like to wish Mrs Bradley Whitford,
i.e. Jane
Kaczmarek,
a very Happy Birthday for today. Have a great
day!
December 9th, 2003 | New caps; update
to article
In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory not only has a long name, but
four pages of caps, starting here.
Becc sent in an extra tidbit related to the article that was posted
in the last update. Consists of some information about the interviewer,
and then a little cute observation about Jane and
Brad. On the page with the article, bottom right.
And I decided to bring the Christmas feel with the title
graphic.
November 22nd, 2003 | New
article; More caps; Wallpapers!
Many many thanks to Becc for scanning an interview with
Brad and wife, Jane, that appeared in More magazine
(US) recently. You rock, gal!
For your viewing pleasure: caps from two of Brad's earlier films
- RoboCop
3 (1993) and Doorman (or Dead
as a Doorman) (1985). Quality's not brilliant, again due
to sources.
Since the video box has ©1985 on the back of it, I've moved
Doorman to 1985 in the filmography (on the basis that a film
can't be copyrighted and distributed a year before
it's made)
The mention of wallpapers isn't a typo! I've spent some quality
time with Photoshop, which has resulted in three
character-based wallpapers. Again limited by the
quality of the caps, and moreso by my graphics
skills!
Two items related to Brad were recently auctioned off on eBay for
charity. Skeleton details here.
Think I'll have to turn that page into a section
some time soon!
November 8th, 2003 | Cap central!
Firstly, thank you to Ames,
who sent me caps of Bradley's
appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show from last month. For
those of you who don't know, Ames runs the "Whitford"
list at Yahoo!
Also uploaded are caps from two of the films Brad appeared in during
the mid-eighties: C.A.T. Squad and Revenge
of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise. The source files were
ex-rental vhs so the caps aren't great quality. Sorry.
Lastly, there has been a small update on
the Celebrity Poker Showdown.
ADDITION: (because I'm an idiot!) Major thanks also
to Ginny,
who actually taped the Ellen show in the first
place, and then went to the trouble of copying
it for Ames. Doh! I apologise to Ginny for the oversight.
